Wedding Seasons
The wedding Seasons; Winter, Spring, Summer & Autumn.
A blog with the 4 wedding seasons, the type and style of photographs you can expect depending on the time of year.
What’s your favourite time of year?
Winter Weddings – Shorter daylight hours however think of log fires, candles and a really romantic feel. A little more flash work may be required. Maybe think about having an earlier ceremony time to make the most of the light and being with your guests.
Winter weddings blogs:
Camilla & Tommy – Larkspur Lodge
Hayley & Aron – Larkspur Lodge
Beth & Glen – Sandhole Oak Barn
Spring Weddings – The flowers are starting to bloom and we will be having lighter days. Think about pastel colours and garden inspired details. You can look at Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration. Flowy bridesmaid dress’ and flower crowns.
Spring weddings blogs:
March time
Bryony & Mark – Delamere Manor
April time
Katherine & Nick – Tower Hill Barns
May time
Harriet & Richard – Marquee at home
Aden & Valerie – Caswell House
Lucy & Alex – Abbeywood Estate
Kim & Robbie – Oak Tree of Peover
Richard & Rebecca – Marquee wedding
Summer Weddings – Usually warmer weather (we are in the UK!) and light nights. I’ll be looking out for my favoruite time, golden hour! The most perfect time for couple portraits. Think about a summer bbq for the evening meal?
Summer weddings blogs:
June/July/August time
Nicola & Laurence – Thorpe Garden
Sarah & Nick – Tower Hill Barns
Autumn Weddings – Crisp golden leaves and warmer sunny evenings. Think of lots of candles and warm food for your wedding breakfast.
Autumn weddings blogs:
Ashley & James – Hilltop Country House
Jessica & Mike – Combermere Abbey
Kate & Jack – Dunham Massey Village Hall
