My style is a combination of relaxed, laid back, creative, documentary, posed and real moments in natural light

Well to me it’s quite simply the people you love, and I love capturing that love. Are you still with me? Good. It’s so important to choose a photographer whose style you LOVE so that when it comes to catching those family pictures that you’ll cherish you’ll be feeling great and excited and that will reflect in your pictures!

Just imagine you’re on a walk with a friend. That’s how I like to shoot. It means that you’re relaxed, I’m relaxed and we get those incredible little moments that tell me exactly how your unique family rub along together.

So a bit about me…

I am a full-time Cheshire and North West based family and wedding photographer covering the whole of the UK and destination. My style is natural and relaxed and I have a passion for un-traditional, un-posed photography.

With me there will be no forced smiles, no cajoling a tired, angry child to smile and pose, we simply have fun!  And we certainly don’t say cheese! I love to work with laid back families who are up for donning their welly boots, exploring nature and getting stuck into an adventure. I work with natural light and BEAUTIFUL Cheshire locations to create photographs you’ll be looking back on for years to come.

“fun, bubbly and informal storytelling photography”

 “WHAT IF IT RAINS” – If it’s absolutely pouring down I will suggest we reschedule but if it’s just a light drizzle, bring your wellies. I’m game if you are!

“CAN WE HAVE THE SHOOT AT HOME” – Yes of course, my 1 hour & 2 hour lifestyle shoot offers the at home option.

“CAN WE BRING THE DOG” – Of course! You can probably see from the pictures on my website that I LOVE dogs! I have my own little hairy ball of chaos called Cooper who’s a handful but I wouldn’t be without him.

“WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN’T WANT TO PLAY BALL” – Children aren’t robots, sometimes children are tired, hungry or just plain grumpy. I take a relaxed approach and there’s rarely been a shoot where I’ve not been able to capture at least a couple of smiles. When you let children be themselves I normally find that the magic’s there, it’s just a case of letting it free!

“CAN WE BRING EXTENDED FAMILY, COUSINS/GRANDPARENTS” – The more the merrier! You can bring as many as you like. Families come in all shapes and sizes.

 “WE’RE AN OLDER FAMILY SO NO LITTLE CHILDREN”- That’s great. Families to me aren’t just those with little children, hey sometimes there’s no kids big or small. Now I’m dreaming of just a whole family of dogs.

STOP PUTTING OFF THE SHOOT  Just do it! You’ll regret it if you don’t. I know how you feel, it’s tough getting in front of the camera but my chilled out style means hopefully you won’t even remember the camera being there. And memories like these are precious, why not capture them.

THE LOCATIONS I have a choice of locations for my family mini shoots so take your pick!  Delamere forest is super gorgeous in all seasons and I take you off the beaten track where it’s nice and quiet. Marbury park in Northwich is another Cheshire gem. It has a lake, woodland and beautiful old stone walls for something a little different. And last but not least Castle park in Frodsham, which boasts a formal garden, lovely buildings and a nice foresty area.
