Iscoyd Park // Kelly & James

Iscoyd Park is one of my all-time favourite venues and it was looking absolutely gorgeous for James and Kelly’s wedding back in June.

Kelly got ready upstairs with her bridesmaids and then came down with her Dad, the grand staircase, draped in foliage and flowers looked stunning as they made their way down to the waiting James in the ceremony room. I love that about Iscoyd, everything is in one place so there was no rushing about from venue to venue and guests (and the bride and groom!) were able to be relaxed and enjoy the day without worrying about getting from place to place.

The ceremony room at Iscoyd is just beautiful and so light and it was decorated simply and elegantly for Kelly and James with more beautiful greenery and white flowers from amazing florist Red Floral Architecture. As they said their vows, James and Kelly’s toddler son Elliot got involved, standing between them before running off down the aisle to escape! What a cutie.

Lawn games kept everyone entertained and guests looked like they were having great fun with the giant connect 4 and croquet on the lawn. Kelly’s uncle is a brilliant wedding photographer in his own right (the pressure!) so it was nice for him to have the day off and enjoy being a guest for a change!

The wedding breakfast was held in the marquee with rustic long tables and yet more incredible trailing white flowers and greenery from Red Floral suspended above the tables. It just looked amazing. Kelly and James were all about my relaxed style and didn’t want many portraits but we managed to sneak out during golden hour for a few minutes so they could spend some time together and I could get some of my signature golden hour couples portraits.

Thanks for having me Kelly and James, and I can’t wait to be back at Iscoyd Park next year. What a lovely little family and a truly beautiful venue
