Iscoyd Park Wedding Venue

Iscoyd Park – a country house wedding venue

I am lucky enough to travel all over Cheshire and the North West to photograph beautiful weddings. Whilst I adore exploring new venues it’s always a treat to head back to a wedding venue that I know and love. Over the years I’ve photographed dozens of weddings at the stunning Iscoyd Park and it’s definitely one of my absolute favourites. I always jump for joy whenever I get a wedding enquiry for there as I know that the couple are going to have the most amazing day.

Weddings at Iscoyd Park

Iscoyd Park can be found right on the borders of Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales. Which makes it a great central location for guests travelling over to the wedding. It’s nestled amidst stunning countryside so if your family or friends are coming from further afield then encourage them to stay in the area for a few days and go exploring!

A stunning 18th century Georgian house, Iscoyd Park wedding venue is an exclusive use wedding venue. You hire out the whole place which means you feel like you’re hosting your very own house party! Couples can take over the house for 1 – 3 days so you’re able to hold any pre and post wedding celebrations there too!

The house and gardens walk that fine line between lavish and comfortable. It’s the most perfect setting for romantic and elegant weddings and I love how the classic, formal decor has a modern, contemporary twist.

A venue for all seasons

Iscoyd Park wedding venue is perfect for weddings at any time of year. In winter it’s so cosy and warm. The house has such a welcoming feel and is spacious enough to host a drinks reception inside if needed. Over the spring and summer the gardens really come into their own. Iscoyd Park is surrounded by formal, manicured gardens as well as woods and parkland. When the flowers are in bloom it’s a riot of colour and looks incredible on photographs. As summer turns to autumn and the leaves start to change colour the woods make an amazing backdrop to wedding portraits and group pictures.

Iscoyd Park is the ideal wedding venue for couples looking to host everything at a single venue. There is plenty of room on site for couples (and their guests) to get ready ahead of the celebrations. I love the Bridal Suite, it’s filled with light and such an amazing spot for those morning preparations.

There are two ceremony spaces within the house, the bright and spacious Garden Room with its huge windows and Portland stone floor seats up to 130 guests. For smaller weddings the characterful Drawing Room is a more intimate space. If you’re planning a church ceremony then I just adore the beautiful, whitewashed St Mary’s Church, right on the edge of the estate.

Back at Iscoyd Park the lawn is an idyllic spot for reception drinks whilst the grounds are filled with amazing opportunities for your wedding portraits. There are so many nooks and crannies for us to explore, all without going too far away from your reception.

If you’re on the hunt for a Cheshire, Shropshire or North Wales wedding venue then I can’t recommend Iscoyd Park enough, and once you’ve got that wedding date all sorted then get in touch, I’d love to chat to you about your wedding photography!
