Family shoot in the woods // Crosbie Family

‘Thank you so much to Jess who captured the most beautiful, natural photos of my little family. I was slightly dreading a photoshoot with a one year old and a four year old but I don’t even think they realised half of the photoshoot was going on around them! To add to that stress my partner was nipping in and out of the shoot on his lunch hour – looking at these photo’s you would never know! The shoot was so relaxed and enjoyable, Jess was so easy to talk to and absolutely great with the boys. We will definitely be back to capture some more photo’s as the boys get older.’

I love getting that essence of a family captured, the little personalities of the kids, whether it’s carrying an extra large stick around for the whole shoot or jumping in every puddle they see, I’ll be there to capture it. I love encouraging the kids to play and be kids and you won’t find any formal posing on your shoot with me.

I love the quirks of mums and dads and the smiles of the grandmas and grandpa’s, whether you’ve got 30 mins for a mini shoot or an hour to really wander through the woods, we can get some cracking natural family shots in that time. As a wedding photographer as well as a family photographer I’m a master of changing plans, uncooperative family members and tantrumming kids so relax, don’t worry and just enjoy your shoot.
