Emma & Samantha’s Sensational Summer Wedding at Rylands Farmhouse
Three words to describe the day: Sensational, Beautiful, Loving
Emma and Samantha’s June wedding at the gorgeous Rylands Farmhouse was the perfect blend of rustic charm and heartfelt emotion. With pastel tones, personal touches, and the warm glow of summer sunshine, their day felt like something straight out of a dream.
A Sunrise Proposal in Tenby
Sam’s proposal to Emma was nothing short of magical. At sunrise, in Tenby – Emma’s favourite childhood destination — Sam got down on one knee after reading a touching letter she had written to Emma’s late mum, Lynne. It was deeply personal and symbolic, a perfect beginning to their next chapter together.
The Inspiration and Style
The couple wanted their day to feel soft, romantic, and filled with meaning. They chose a palette of pastel blues and purples to reflect both their personalities and memories. The colours worked beautifully against the rustic tipi setting at Rylands Farmhouse.
Blue, Sam’s favourite colour, and a single purple gerbera – a nod to Emma’s mum – tied the look together beautifully. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, balancing elegance with a relaxed, countryside atmosphere.
A Private, Emotional Moment
One of the most touching parts of the day was when Emma and Sam decided to read their vows privately, away from the crowd. Sharing such heartfelt words in an intimate moment allowed them to truly connect and be present – a beautiful reminder of what the day was all about.
Capturing the Day
The couple first discovered their photographer after seeing their work at a friend’s wedding. Emma remembered thinking how exceptional the photos were – candid, natural, and full of life. Having someone who could blend in effortlessly and capture genuine emotion was important, and the photos from the day reflect exactly that.
The Celebration
The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and love – set to the beautiful acoustic version of “Latch” by Veer Glider. And, of course, a special mention goes to their adorable dog, Jessie, who completely stole the show (and everyone’s hearts) throughout the day.
The Honeymoon
After the festivities, Emma and Sam enjoyed a relaxing mini-moon at Hoar Cross Hall, a well-deserved spa break before their bigger honeymoon adventure later in the year.
Words of Wisdom
“Relax – on the day, all your stresses will fade away! Take in every moment; it goes so, so quick.”
Simple but perfect advice from two brides who clearly savoured every second of their incredible day.
