Wrenbury Hall Wedding Venue

Wrenbury Hall – an exclusive use, historic Cheshire venue

You’ll find Wrenbury Hall in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Located just outside Nantwich, a quaint market town, the sandstone hall is surrounded by lush green fields and woodland.

One of Cheshire finest venues, Wrenbury Hall is over 400 years old and boasts an impressive history. From a grand country estate to a British Red Cross training facility. From a family home to an exclusive use events venue.

The original sandstone exterior is stunningly beautiful and inside the Hall is spacious, light and airy. There are, apparently, secret passages leading to the local church and beyond. I’ve never found any though!

Weddings at Wrenbury Hall

Since 1998 Wrenbury Hall has played host to hundreds of wedding celebrations. It’s the perfect mix of historical and modern, with the stone exterior, original features and contemporary, stylish interior. Over the years there have been numerous additions including the Champagne Bar, bridal prep salon and Rose Pagoda for outdoor ceremonies. I love that throughout all the refurbishments the team have still retained the Hall’s character.

When couples book Wrenbury Hall for their wedding they get exclusive use of the venue, with sole use of the entire downstairs as well as the grounds, woodlands and accommodation. It can feel like one big house party!

There are three amazing ceremony spaces at Wrenbury. I love the Oak Room with its impressive hand painted ceiling, pillars and huge oak fireplace which makes an incredible backdrop to your ceremony.

The Orangerie is more contemporary in style. It’s filled with natural light and you can really put your own stamp on it when it comes to decor.

For spring and summer wedding ceremonies Wrenbury Hall also has the beautiful Rose Pagoda, outside on the lawn. I’m a big fan of an outdoor ceremony. I absolutely love being out in nature and can’t imagine anywhere more idyllic to say your wedding vows.

Wrenbury Hall wedding photography

Family and friends can enjoy the grounds during the drinks reception. The setting is so peaceful and secluded, it’s really lovely to capture wedding guests as they chat away or explore the gardens. My natural, documentary style of photography is ideal for couples who don’t want to disappear for hours on end for portraits, or stand posing for dozens of family photographs. Instead I capture all the moments of the day. Of course, there’s still the opportunity for a handful of group pictures and photos of the two of you, I just keep these very relaxed and don’t steal you away for too long!

I absolutely love shooting weddings at Wrenbury, as well as being a beautiful venue, the wedding team there are just amazing. So lovely and friendly. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a number of weddings at the Hall over the years and each and every one has been so unique to that couple. It’s always great to see couples put their own stamp on a venue and really make their day their own.

If you’re currently planning your own Wrenbury Hall wedding then let’s chat about your plans, I’d love to hear more!
