Willington Hall // Sophie & Ash

After proposing on a beach in South Wales in front of wild horses you wouldn’t have thought any other moment could have topped that one, but at Sophie and Ash’s wedding there was a moment that topped it all for groom Ash.

“For me, seeing Arthur (my baby boy) coming down the aisle in his little outfit with my mum, and then seeing Sophie was the real moment for me”

These two had waited so long to get married, changing the date a whopping 3 times, that when they finally tied the knot last year their wedding felt all the more special for it. And they got to do it in front of all their friends and family and most important of all, their little boy Arthur, who walked down the aisle ahead of his mum with his Granny in tow.

Sophie and Ash got married at Willington Hall, a beautiful Georgian country house in the middle of the Cheshire countryside and just a stone’s throw from Delamere Forest.

Sophie looked absolutely stunning in a blush pink dress as she walked down the aisle after her mint green wearing bridesmaids holding a bouquet of roses and eucalyptus.

The light at Willington is absolutely beautiful thanks to the large lantern window above the ceremony space and their wedding was light, bright and gorgeous, my favourite wedding conditions! Amazing to have blue sky and fluffy clouds above you as you say I do. After the ceremony we strolled around the grounds of Willington capturing precious moments between the little family of three and of course some relaxed couple’s portraits for them to remember their big day. They wanted natural and unposed which is of course my speciality and that’s what they got, some gorgeous memories to last forever.

Congratulations Sophie and Ash. I’m so glad your baby boy was there to see you finally tie the knot.
