Staffordshire Wedding Venues
Although I do like to shoot weddings in my beautiful little corner of Cheshire, I have been known to venture further afield and one of my favourite places to shoot is Staffordshire. There’s a load of amazing Staffordshire wedding venues that I’ve shot at before and that I love, so here’s a few if you’re looking at that area of the north to get married in.
The Ashes Barns is an absolutely amazing barn venue set in acres of beautiful Staffordshire countryside at the foothills of the Peak district. I love that rustic countryside vibe and this venue has it in oodles. There’s a lake, a gorgeous courtyard the ceremony barn is a 17th century grade II listed building so there’s plenty of places to take incredible photos.
Another brilliant Staffordshire wedding venue is Foxtail Barns which isn’t far from Alton Towers (if you fancy a day of thrill seeking with your bridal party). The Orangery is simply gorgeous (you should see the light streaming in through those windows) and whether you dress it up with botanicals or have it plain with the rustic brick and oak beams your ceremony will be a photographer’s dream. They’ve also got onsite accommodation and space for at least 150 guests. The vibe here is a mix of old and new, sophistication and homely comforts, it’s actually one of my favourite Staffordshire wedding venues and is always a pleasure to shoot at.
Last but not least on my list of Staffordshire wedding venues is Pendrell Hall. This venue is totally different from the two I previously mentioned, a big old country hall with the most incredible carved woodwork inside, I love this venue for its sophisticated Victorian vibes and the luxurious, cosy interior. You can also get married outside under the English country garden bandstand which is just gorgeous when the sun is shining and there’s loads of beautiful locations both inside and out that I can take you to for those epic couple’s pics.
So that’s my top 3 Staffordshire wedding venues. I hope it’s been useful for anybody planning their wedding in Staffordshire and if you’re still looking for a wedding photographer give me a shout. It’s always a pleasure to shoot at any of these venues.
