Newborn shoot at home with Sofia & Luca with one of my oldest friends Amy & Ed. An honour to photograph this beautiful family and being welcomed to capture natural and relaxed images in the comfort of their home. Sofia is a bubbly character and so lovely seeing her again, she introduced me to her new baby brother Luca. It was important to Amy to have Sofia involved and we got some stunning images of her reading and playing. Luca is around 2 weeks old when these images were taken and I think this is a perfect age.

My shoots are more lifestyle so you will be holding baby and they will be placed in the cot and floor etc, I don’t hold the baby or do wrap staged shots.

Baby shoots at home will always be a little bit longer because they are so unpredictable and I want YOU to feel relaxed and make sure the newborn is fed and changed. There’s no pressure and I want you to enjoy the shoot, thank you for inviting me into your home.

I love making connections with my clients and their families and that enables me to get the best out of your family shoot, keeping it relaxed and informal. There’s no point pushing you into poses you’re not comfortable in and I won’t even ask you to smile. Kids are notorious for that awful forced “school smile” as I call it, (you know the one I mean, it’s in all their school photographs) Well that just isn’t me so all you’ll get from me is a connection, fun, and all natural smiles! There really is nothing else to it!
