August 22nd, 2025 wasn’t just any date. It marked an incredible milestone for Megan & Joe: their 10-year anniversary. It felt only right to celebrate their wedding as close to that special date as possible, honouring a decade of love and shared memories.

The Proposal

Megan & Joe’s story began all the way back in nursery when they were just three years old. They grew up alongside each other, only starting to date once school was behind them. By the time Christmas Eve rolled around, Joe was ready to ask the big question in a way that was creative, personal, and deeply romantic.

At home, he curated a “Museum of Joe and Meg,” with each room of their house representing a different year of their love story. Photos, stories, and music from each stage of their relationship guided Megan through the journey, ending in a final room filled with candles and rose petals. There, Joe waited on one knee – the most magical Christmas Eve surprise.

The Wedding Vision

For Megan & Joe, the most important part of the day was fun. They didn’t want anything too serious, but instead a celebration filled with surprises, energy, and entertainment. With Megan being a performer, it was only natural that their wedding included show-stopping moments – like their first dance, which had guests on their feet as they recreated that iconic “Time of Our Lives” moment.

The Day Itself

Their wedding day was brimming with laughter and emotion in equal measure. A standout moment for Megan was just before she walked down the aisle: a tiny floating fairy plant drifted beside her, and she instantly thought of her beloved Nan, who had passed away. She felt it was a little sign – her Nan wishing her luck on the most important day of her life.

The day was also filled with brilliant fun. Their guests were treated to singing waiters (the amazing Black Box Events), who brought the room to life before handing the mic over to the best man for a rousing, hilarious rendition of Angels. Every part of the day was perfectly them – unexpected, full of laughter, and unforgettable.

Their advice is heartfelt: money comes back – you only get one wedding, so just do what makes you happy. A reminder to make choices that reflect you as a couple, rather than following tradition or expectation.

The Honeymoon

After the wedding, Megan & Joe jetted off to sunny Rhodes, Greece, where they’ve been soaking up the 35-degree heat and exploring together. But their honeymoon adventures don’t stop there – they’re also planning a dream trip to the Maldives early next year, once they’ve had time to save and enjoy their wedding gifts.
