Family Photographer Delamere // Jamie & Phoebe

Family photographer in Delamere Forest. This lovely family are old favourites of mine. They come to me every year for a gorgeous autumnal photoshoot and I’ve just loved watching them grow year by year.

Just look at little Phoebes amazing skirt, isn’t she just gorgeous and Jamie loved posing for the camera. It’s these bits of family personality that I just love learning about. One of the great things about the families that come back to me year after year is that I get to know everyone really well. The kids are comfortable around me and their little personalities shine when they’re happy and relaxed.

I can build a rapport with each family when I see them again and again and some of my clients have become great friends. Some I’ve seen all the way through from their weddings to the birth of their children and beyond.

I asked Phoebe and Jamie’s mum Vicky what her favourite part of the shoot was and she said…

“The kids interacting with Jess. It’s lovely how relaxed she is with them and it really encourages them to show their personalities. A shoot with Jess is an annual tradition for us because the pictures are so natural. She makes everyone feel comfortable and always finds the best light.”

We always have so much fun on shoots because this isn’t just a job for me, I love being out in the forest with my familes, I love being present for the most important day of people’s lives when I shoot a wedding and I love being a part of documenting people’s memories.
