Emma and Luke’s wedding was a vibrant celebration full of laughter, love, and colour. They chose their date with a touch of humour – exactly one month after Emma’s birthday, ensuring Luke would never forget their anniversary!

The couple met almost nine years ago at a music venue, sparking a friendship that quickly turned into love. Luke proposed on New Year’s Eve 2024 in the Lake District, a meaningful spot for the pair, as it was where they went on a babymoon before welcoming their first son seven years ago.

Their wedding day reflected their personalities perfectly: fun, floral, and full of colour, with thoughtful touches throughout. Music played an essential role, with carefully chosen songs for every key moment, from ceremony to celebrations.

There were many standout moments, from hilarious speeches to unexpected performances. “Emma’s brother’s speech was a highlight – we knew he was nervous but he had everyone in stitches! Not to mention Luke, Adam, and Alex’s rendition of ‘Afternoon Delight’ – I should have seen that coming knowing them!” The couple also loved seeing all the children in their family enjoying the day at their perfectly chosen location.

Jess came highly recommended, and the couple were immediately drawn to her natural and relaxed photography style. “Having seen Jess’s work online and on Instagram, we knew we were making the right choice. Now that our day has been captured, we are blown away with the photographs we’ve seen so far.”

Their first dance was to “Still Into You” by Paramore, a reflection of their fun-loving spirit and connection.
