A Fun-Filled Family Shoot with the Storeys
Three words: Relaxed, Fun, Happy.

That’s how Alexandra Storey summed up her family photo shoot – and honestly, I couldn’t describe it better myself. From start to finish, this session was all about embracing the moment, enjoying the outdoors, and capturing the beautiful chaos that comes with parenting two energetic kids.

Alex booked the session simply to get some lovely family photos – but what unfolded was so much more. With her children aged 10 and 7, it wasn’t long before the session turned into a mini adventure. We laughed, chased, explored, and let the kids lead the way as they darted through the trees and soaked up every bit of freedom.

“Seeing the kids having so much fun running around and exploring” was her favourite part of the shoot – and for me, it’s moments like that which make this job so rewarding. When children are free to be themselves, their personalities shine – and that’s what I love to capture most.

We shared a session full of giggles, connection, and all the tiny moments that make family life so special. As Alex put it, “Just having so much fun with my favourite people! Lots of smiles and giggles!” And once the gallery was delivered? Picking a favourite image turned out to be impossible. “Struggling to pick favourites as they’re all so good!”
