Ali & Noel – A Joyful Garden Wedding Filled with Love and Laughter
Three words to describe your day:
Best day ever!
For Ali and Noel, their wedding day was everything they’d dreamed of and more – a heartfelt celebration overflowing with joy, colour, and laughter from start to finish.
The date itself held deep meaning. It would have been the 66th wedding anniversary of Ali’s mum and dad – a touching tribute that made the day even more special and emotional.
After 18 wonderful years together, Noel surprised Ali with a proposal during a holiday in Barbados last November. As Ali put it, “There’s really no need to rush into these things!”
Their wedding style was as personal as their story. With a love of nature at its heart, the day was beautifully garden and flower-themed, with every bloom and stem – even the dried flowers for napkin rings and place settings – lovingly grown and gathered from their own garden. The result was an effortlessly natural and deeply meaningful celebration that reflected who they are.
When asked about memorable moments, Ali and Noel couldn’t pick just one. “Every single moment was just so utterly joyous,” they shared. “Everyone looked incredibly happy all day and all night. So many smiles, so much laughter, and a few tears of joy too. All of it was so memorable.”
Their first dance was to “Marry Me” by Train – the perfect song for a couple who have built a beautiful life together and finally tied the knot after nearly two decades.
Ali and Noel discovered Jess while searching for a local photographer. They were immediately drawn to her approach and personality after visiting her website. “When we visited our venue, Abbeywood, they couldn’t speak highly enough of you. Then we met you at their wedding open day, and we were convinced you were the one – great attitude, great personality, and great talent.”
Best advice for other couples?
“Choose the right people and your day will be totally perfect- and you won’t have to worry about a thing.”
After their beautiful celebration, Ali and Noel headed off on a well-deserved honeymoon adventure to Singapore and Malaysia – the perfect start to married life together.
