Mini shoot in the woods with The Hampshire’s for their annual family shoot. They choose the Autumn Winter time as the leave as are turning but you still get thank autumnal light, plus it’s not as cold at December! Their favourite part of the shoot was spending time with the boys and spinning around, these make the images more fun and keepin the boy engaged looking for logs, sticks and shoulder rides.
The family found me on faceook and enjoyed their shoot last year in Delamere Forest. My mini shoot location has changed this year, not too far away but it’s alot quieter and gives a bit more space for them to run around and explore.
The woods are a perfect backdrop all year round, in the spring we get the most beuatiful purple heather and by autumn it has changed to golden tones with crisp green leaves. Summer time the sun is the perfect location for evening sunset photographs and with the golden hour at around 7pm, it’s perfect for after work shoots.
I want my mini shoots to be fun, casual and relaxed and so glad that Lyndsey described my shoots like this! Genuine laughs, exploring and being together as a family – priceless.
