Shooting from my heart

In 2015 I made a conscious effort to photograph my two children how they are – finding beauty in the every day and documenting them with their own unique personalities and traits. I wanted to capture their belly laughs, their silliness, the fun & games they got up to and adventures unfolded. I wanted to learn and encourage my creative soul, there was little or no direction from me to the kids, it was just like normal – I just happened to have my camera with me at all times.

I don’t care what they wear, I don’t care if they get muddy – clothes can be washed! WE are a family who love to be outdoors, running through fields, walking barefoot on the sand and climbing trees (Well not me…..!) My favourite images are the ones where they don’t know I’m there – capturing the moment.
