Mini shoot in the Forest // Albert

Mini shoot in the forest with Albert and his family. This little guy joined his mum and dad in the midst of lockdown which means he hasn’t been able to meet all of his lovely family. So, Abi and Joe and of course Teddy the dog wanted to be able to share some family pictures with those that haven’t had a chance to meet the gorgeous Albert yet.

I took them to Delamere forest, one of my favourite spots for an autumnal mini shoot and boy did we get some beautiful autumnal colours. It was lovely to photograph not just Albert but Teddy the dog, – I LOVE photographing pets! – even when he started digging a hole and showered me with soil, we were having fun!

Delamere really is the ideal place for autumn mini sessions, it’s such a breath-taking natural setting and as you can see the colours are just beautiful. I’m all about capturing the natural moments between families but I do also feel it’s important to get at least one family shot. It’s nice to have a picture of all the family together whether that’s the one you put on your wall or give to your Grandma, I think it’s lovely to have a shot of everyone together as well as the more natural moments. This little family was no different and they looked just lovely all together, in fact I’d go as far as saying that these are some of my favourite family portraits from this year’s mini sessions.

Albert was very cooperative and surprisingly, so was Teddy. The golden tones of the leaves matched perfectly with Teddy’s coat and he stood proudly for a couple of portraits of his own!
